It is difficult to figure out what your problem is. I have had several problems
installing Rebel9 and 10. I think that sometimes the information on the screen
is not always clear. When I first tried to install my upgrade version, I was
asked to put my original in, which was a CD. I was then told that whatever I put
in was not the original disk. Having great experience in installing obsinate
software, I just kept trying, and paying a little more attention to what was
happening. Sometimes an ignore works, sometimes something else. Sometimes the
install program might be looking at the wrong drive. And maybe you were sent the
upgrade version. Of course, you could have a faulty CD. In that case you would
just be spinning your wheels trying to install. But I feel it could be a
confusing install setup. Good Luck!
