I disagree with you on every point. Why do we buy violent games? To satisfy our
need to kill or destroy. Why do we buy games with sexual content? To tittilate
us. The reason not to is because our character is changed.

People think that violent TV does not affect them. Then why are there
commercials?

Ditto for computer games. Your son is being molded by the games he can watch
(but not play). He doesn't inhale!

You mentioned that you do not "specifically" buy R-rated games. You choose them
for some other reason: I presume for their "fun value"? What price is your or
your son's character that you are willing to sell it for a few hours of fun!?
