There seems to be a problem with installing the latest Fritz 7 update. When I install it, it extracts new language files (located in Fritz7\Messages). The problem is that the english translation of frame.strings is in german. After failing I couple installations I downloaded a CAB-file viewer and tried extract the english language files manually. I then discovered that the english frame.strings in the setup actually is in german. What to do? Translate the program myself? After further investigation I figured out that the message files in the setup of the latest playchess.com free client is ok (i.e. the Fritz 8 playchess GUI), so I copied it from there into the Fritz 7 folder. After removing 4 new strings that apparently has been added after the latest Fritz 7 update, voila... I have a working english installation of Fritz 7. Anyway... I post this here to maybe help someone avoid this problem. Best regards /Erik
