I am considering purchasing a palm/pocket PC for the explicit purpose of playing/studying chess while travelling. I have read the reviews and as far as playing strength of the various programs on the two platforms goes, I have no preference (they are all good). So I do not need advice there. I spend a significant amount of time not playing games but studying tactical or endgame positions which exist in Chessbase databases I have on my PC. Now the question, how easy is it to create a database with a substantial number of postions from existing Chessbase databases (maybe a subset if space requires) for the programs on the various platforms. A conversion to other formats is acceptable. Can the various programs load these easily from a single database file and effectively scroll through them as the postions are solved. Anyone have real experience doing just this with the programs? Bob
