It also allows the user to define what problems you want to be tested on. They are in the format: [Event "Mlada Boleslav op"] [Site "?"] [Date "1995.??.??"] [Round "?"] [White "Potapov, A."] [Black "Movsesian, S."] [Result "0-1"] [WhiteElo "2375"] [BlackElo "2470"] [Annotator "M2+.B"] [SetUp "1"] [FEN "6K1/8/6k1/2b2n2/8/8/8/8 b - - 0 105"] [PlyCount "3"] [EventDate "1995.??.??"] [Source "ChessBase GmbH"] [SourceDate "1997.09.05"] 105... Kh8 Bd4# 0-1 You add your own tests by renaming the "tactics.pgn" file that comes with PF2 to something else (so you do not overwrite it) and naming the test file that you want to use to "tactics.pgn", It will randomly select the positions for you. http://www.chessbase.de/download/index.asp?cat=Pocket+Fritz download :http://www.chessbase.com/download/tactics.pgn Rough Tranlsation: With the chess program Pocketfritz, 501 tactic porblems are included. If had solved these or need something more difficilt you may download it from here. 180 new tactic positions are offered. Follow the steps above after you have downloaded it and then called it under "tactic training" menu item like before. If you would like to keep the old tactics, simply put a backup copy on the handheld or the Desktop PC. Have fun in solving the problems! There is also a Pocket Fritz Demo which I never knew nothing about before. http://www.chessbase.de/download/download/PocketFritz.exe There are restictions, I have never used it, but it looks like it may be restricted to 10 or so moves, 10 or so tactic positions and the level is on "Easy 1" if I read that right. I'm not fluent in German, so I could be wrong.
