The upshot of that is that, even when cut down, they drag around masses of redundancy; they certainly could not be cut down to the level seen here. (Also remember that there are many forum members who have dialup access only!) I think we are actually in a reasonably good situation here. Most people can be trusted, the forum software is evidently simple and fast and it is relatively easy to add a feature which will cut out those who can't be trusted. Alastair
