I think we are seeing the same thing in fact when it is about Crafty's time usage - it's just a bit more complicated, and my numbers that where just a guess were a bit high. It doesn't happen in every game btw. I'll have a closer look at the end of the match. First observation is that huge difference in time usage between programs happen most often after an early trade of queens or when both engines are out of book early. Peter
