Rules, like chess engines, can be improved.  There is nothing sacred about
rules.  A perfect set of rules will probably never exist.

When a rule is clearly wrong, the humans involved should make appropriate
adjustments to prevent the "wrong" rule from creating any more trouble than
absolutely necessary.  There are "blue laws" in chess as everywhere else.

Worship of "rules" is a false religion.
