To continue to play after checkmate has been established would require you to make illegal moves to continue. Draws by repetition/50 move rule are not "required" and games may continue in human chess. Draws must be "claimed" by one of the players. If you want it different in computer chess that's fine but it should be explicit in the rules and all programs made to comply automatically. Just my opinion of course. Jim
