Were you there? How do you know the Shredder operator could see the draw claim before Jonny made the move. It is normal for most computer programs to actually make the move first and then the message appears on the screen. (The program would have to make the move before the Fritz GUI could check for a repetition) Even if the Shredder operator was monitoring Jonny's screen how would he have seen it before it happened? Why does the computer make the move on the screen in the first place? Why don't programmers make the programs comply with human rules since they are theoretically designed for play vs humans. There is certainly no way to blame Shredder or its operator for not claiming a draw. You can blame Shredder for allowing the repetition if you like. Jim
