Hi Michael, I'm not arguing with your point, which is correct, or the rules,
quite the contrary, I'm supporting the rules.

Am I disappointed in what happened? Yes I am! What annoys me to some degree is
that the operator _thought_ regardless of the rules that Shredder should win.

That's not what you do. Other than that I really can't fault the TD's or the
ICGA. That's all. If the author of Jonny requested the TD to except the draw
and before the move was made or if the operator erred at let it be played then
I would exccept and expect the game to be ruled as a draw. This didn't happen
unfortunately.

It's been a messy controversial tournament, and that is disappointing, but it
certainly isn't an invalid tournament so many here claim. Actually I'm sick of
hearing that, but people tend to get very emotional over these things.

I do admit if everything went the way it should have, Fritz would be the WCCC,
and that is a shame. I hope in the future, mistakes like in the Shredder-Jonny
game don't happen again. I also hope such silly bugs like Shredder displayed
don't happen again, especially since its a top commercial programme.

Regards,
 Terry
