Not necessarialy. An UCI engine can work under the Fritz-GUI and use its own
book. It can tell the fact, that it wants to use the own book by the
UCI-protocol. I don't know, if this was the case for Jonny - I just wanted to
answer in a more general context. I guess, even for a "native" CB engine this
would be possible. Select an empty book in the GUI, and have your own engine
book code. But you should know this better than me ...
