Subject: linux: rebel 12 (DOS) and speed

Hi ...

I just managed to run Rebel 12 (DOS), download version
using DOSEMU 1.1.99.1 under SuSE Linux 8.2 ...

As I have no computer for comparison I just like to know
what the speed difference may be compared to using it
under dos or windows with similar hardware.

Hardware is AMD XP 2000+ , using 4 MB hash table I get
for the starting position around 140.000 - 150.000 nps ...
Depth 11.00 after 12 sec
Depth 12.00 after 25 sec
Depth 13.00 after 1 min 17 sec

Is this speed appropriate or is this much too slow
compared to other operating sytems rebel prefers?
