You do _not_ "ask for a draw" in this circumstance. You _claim_ it. See the FIDE rules of chess. To "ask" implies that it can be refused. It can _not_ be refused unless an error has been made. In the case of a computer, making a repetition statement is the same as making a claim... IMHO
