If either (a) the position before my move has occurred three times with me to move, or (b) the position after my move has occurred three times with my opponent to move, I can claim a 3-fold repetition draw, if I choose to, or I can move. Of course, if I move with the intent of not wanting a repetition draw, I had better move something that creates a position that has not been seen twice before or my opponent will have the option of claiming the draw as well.
