I seriously doubt those programs have any Crafty code at all. Contrast that with Ruffian , which does show some digital sequencing that matches with Crafty. But we're talking perhaps a few lines out of 40,000 lines of code. What I call digital sequencing is to to run the the program, Microsoft Windiff and compare the two executables. Normally Windiff is used on source code, but you also use to match executables. For example , there is really very little difference betweeb Ruffian 1.0.1 and Ruffian 1.0.5. What it does not tell is what exactly is it that is matching up or is different.
