I posted the bug at the Project home page (Savannah) and got this response: "This problem is known and at the moment still open because its not easy to find a right solution." This is ridiculus ! You can't do a simple count of nodes beyond 4.3 billion ?? Martin. The bug is here: http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=6908
