It's likely that the design decisions that you make now will stay with you for (many) years. It's also quite possible that within one or two years we will see 1 GHz Palms with a reasonable size cache. Monarch, my engine, uses quite a few tables and I'm interested in creating a Palm version but it'll probably be for Palm OS 7 ;-)) Regards, Steve
