They are friends. Sometimes it takes a while for friends to realize that. This is only computer chess we talk about here, after all, not anything important. Chris Whittington and Dirk are friends also, and someday they will realize that computer chess is a distraction, and not a goal, and that having friends, no matter how different from you in ideals they may be, is much more rewarding than having the right opinion in any argument. All the people excluded from here, whether voluntarily, or by force, have made the same mistake; they took themselves too seriously. This is not life and death; it is a hobby!
