Another thing you can try is, adding a limitation not to nullmove when your beta value has a mating value. (both positive or negative) When I started to experiment with nullmove this solved mating- problems I got from nullmove, for me. Then later, when everything runs stable, you can remove (or just remove the one that tells not to nullmove when it's the losing side, the other one is usefull anyway) it again. (Then you know it's not something else) So, something like if (beta>9000) or (beta<-9000) then don't nullmove Hope you succeed in solving it. Stan
