Here's "my"take on this.  If I were "king" of this message board, and had
absolute authority over what was posted and what was deleted and who was allowed
in and who was kicked out...  I'd probably behave a lot differently than some
of you might expect me to.  IE in the case of Amir I'd do *nothing*.  Because
he posts perfectly reasonable stuff most of the time.  He has a sensitive point
about deep blue.  As do I.  I tend to look "at the big picture".  If someone
is mainly abusive, my "kingly" decision would be "bye-bye".  If the post mostly
good stuff with a few transgressions scattered around, I would simply ignore
it.  The only hard part would be where to draw the line.  Out if over 25% of
posts are abusive?  10%?  50%?  That wold be the only hard issue and I would
probably have a different "n" for each person...

I wish we could get off the "cheating" thread about the fritz autoplayer, and
about the cheating issue in the DB vs Kasparov match, and get onto something
"interesting" about either of those subjects.  Whether or not it will ever
happen is anybody's guess, however...
