I remember when I got CM 8000. I tried to use it, and gave up. The cd has been
setting in my cd rack since its release.

I could not stand it any longer, so tonight I bought CM 9000, $29.95.
That was about two hours ago. I am quiting for now with this setup. I will try
again some other time.

Unbelievable difference between chessbase, shredder classic, chesspartner and CM
9000 GUI. I dont have any problem using all my other programs in their native
interfaces. Using Ruffian 1.0.5 with the shredder classic interface was not a
problem. the tiger, rebel, and gandalf GUI no problems. of course the chessbase
software is so user friendly anyone can move around and learn.
the shredder classic interface is my favorite. my copy of Nagaskaki is working
fine. I purchased a copy of Diep and it works fine on my smp machine. loading
any of the UCI engines, not a problem.

I am not going to ask any questions about this interface here yet. The questions
are too ignorant, low level, and stupid for me to ask here. I Will spend more
time trying to set up test positions and analyzing games tomorrow when I get in
a better mood about my purchase. maybe I will just pay CM expert Kurt to answer
my questions in e-mail, if he promises not to reveal my stupid, ignorant, low
level questions here. Kurt do you accept pay-pal?
