Comeone ! hurd can be used today as your primary kernel ! :)
Well , I do have it at office - rendering my machine unusable by anyone else -
even though it is "almost" same as linux from an enduser perspective.
What makes it really cool is that now i am a kernel hacker while logged in as a
normal user :)
hope you give hurd more than a try.
I'm still fiddling abound with it - that annoying 1 Gig partition limit can be a
pain though ... dunno whether they worked around tht limitation.
