What I call "bad" positions are not just those that produce oddly low
speedups, but those that produce speedups with significant variance.  Good
positions are relatively stable, although even they have some variance. But
not that 16x stuff.   :)

All this probably means is that there are now other positions that are worse
than these.  :)
