I was performing analysis of Bronstein gambit
1 e4 e5 2 Bc4 Bc5 3 Qg4 d5 4 Qxg7 Qh4 5 Qxh8 Qxf2+ 6 Kd1 Qxg2 with hiarcs9 and
fritz8 GUI : it went: 7 Qxe5+ Ne7 8 Qh8+ Kd7 9 d4 Qxh1 10 Qg7 dxc4 11 dxc5 Kc6
12 Nd2 Na6 13 Ndf3 Be6 14 Ne5+ Kxe5 15 Be3+ Kd6 16 Qg3 Rg8 17 Ng4+ Kc6
18 Ne5+ Kd6 19 Ng4+ Kc6 20 Ne5+ Kd6......
And now in place of the expected 21 Ng4+ and draw by 3-fold repetition
I can se on the screen:
21 -- and no move is made , but it is passed to Black which play
21...RxQg3??!!??!!
now , I wonder to WHAT this bug is DUE :
The engine : hiarcs9
Or the GUI : fritz8
Who can tell me ??
