When you say full install what do you mean, there is a typical install which
will take up 40MB of hard drive space, then there is Custom which dumps all
files onto your system.
Even still I have windows 98 and installed CM6000 and I seen when it was
installing that it just replaced that file or added it, but I never had any
hassles, I have Norton antivirus 4 on my system too.
I do not thinks that is the problem, I say try a typical installation or maybe a
compact if that does not work, but forget the custum and the full installation
of the program, not worth wasting 560MB of space when typical one works just
fine.
