Hi Martin, due to your detailed informations I was able to solve my (first) problem - no longer this 256MB limit with MS-VC++ 6.0 on Win98 machines! :-)) You´ve really saved me a lot of time! Many thanks for your excellent help - it´s really good to know, that here are a lot of experts (like you) to get help from when running into troubles. My best regards, Franz.
