IMO, I think version 17.14 was one of the better Crafty versions.  I have not
played with 19.6 enoough to form an opinion relative to 17.14 - but I do agree
that 17.14 was an excellent Crafty version for playing chess - especially in
games witha TC of 20+1 like you did.   Your results are very plausible.  A lot
changed going from 17 to 18 and then to version 19.  Version 19 is clearly
better than version 18 (IMO).
