The very great problem with PDA playing chess is that you need to replace
batteries almost at once. Dedicated units like those by Excalibur can work
hundreds of hours and yu play at easy without looking each half an hour the
state of the batteries to see if you must change them or not and preserve not
only the game, but the rest of your stuff.
It is great to play a thing you can lose or damage without losing half of you
life.
