Thorsten Czub reported about good experience with Hiarcs 9
and the settings TC (aggressive, hypermodern) and after the
first games it looks very nice:

Hiarcs 9 TC vs Fritz 8.0.0.26 (6.5-3.5 !!)

40'/40+40'/40+40'
P3 800/64 MB hash, ponder=off,
3-4 men EGTB, own books

and even if there are still much too less games played,
the outcome so far was a surprise to me.
