You can't. Not these versions, at least. They're the full programs for DOS only. There are special versions of Fritz 1 and Fritz 3 that can be used as engines for the Windows versions of Fritz. These two engines were bundled with Fritz 5.32 (maybe with Fritz 6 as well, I've forgotten). I used these engines 2 years ago, when I didn't have many other engines, but I don't bother with them now. As I remember, the Fritz 3 engine played reasonably, but the Windows version of the Fritz 1 engine had time control problems which the Dos version didn't have. My advice to you is: don't waste time with the old Fritz engines (Fritz 1 and Fritz 3). If you want a weak-ish opponent, use Bam Bam. If you want to run an engine tournament there are 8 free engines at http://www.chessbase.com/download/index.asp?cat=Engines. Add those to Koenig Schwarz, Turing and the engines included on your Fritz CD, and you have about a dozen engines. And if that's not enough for you, check out the UCI engines at http://www.playwitharena.com; but one word of warning: some of the UCI engines don't run correctly with Fritz. Probably software bugs. In a moment of madness I installed all the available UCI engines in Fritz, but now I only use Ruffian, Yace and Pharaon.
