Russell, You might like to take a look at "The Big Book of Combinations" that I have on my site: http://www.stevemaughan.com/bbc.htm The original analysis engine used by Eric Schiller was Zarkov 2.5 on a Pentium 90 and these 190 positions are the ones that Zarkov didn't solve in a reasonable time. They are still my favourite collection of test positions and I'm about to update the ChessBase file with results from the latest engines. There are still quite a few positions in there that are not solved by todays programs within 10 mins. Regards, Steve
