FX-51 is not smp, someone is trying to unlock smp as we speak. wont surprise me
if we see unlocked 51 on internet site soon. maybe you have already seen?

Lots of interest in this new cpu for chess programs.
this combination would be very fun to build and test with our deep programs.
difficult to justify the expense.

If you have a dual AMD, you can use your standard ATX case, standard power
supply connector.
Memory must be ECC.
I think this is about the fastest dual processor workstation for home use, that
we can buy now. These prices are from Monarch. Total seems to be about $2300
including shipping, this is if you can use your memory.
Monarch has 2 sticks of 512, ECC, 2700, for $275.

you can buy the 2x2200 mhz Opteron for test positions, or let your 2x2800 mp
system run the test position overnight.
