The FX51 in SMP would be nice.  I believe it's the fastest chess CPU out there
right now (per SPEC).  But from reading, it's not going to happen.

CPU  - Results (Crafty only)

O246 - 1754 (64)
FX51 - 1504 (32)
O246 - 1371 (32)
6432 - 1370 (32)
XP32 - 1324
XP28 - 1310 (Same mobo, the XP2800+ did better than the XP3000+.  WEIRD.)
XP30 - 1292
3.2E - 1252
3.2X - 1233
3.2  - 1198
I1.5 - 1195 (Itanium 2 1.5Ghz)
