The real point (which has been made numerous times already, and unaswered by proponents of the status-quo) is that there is absolutely no need for a 1.5 week event. Two or three rounds per day is perfectly workable, especially with auto-play. So many more people would then be able to participate (and spectators could view ALL MATCHES LIVE via ICC/FICS/etc.) But who cares anyway. The obsolete, clunky, imcompetence-infested ICGA events will continue to shrink into irrelevance while CCT-type events will continue to grow. Out with the old, in with the new. MH > >-- >GCP
