Perhaps another bug? Perhaps, the GUI also looks at the score? So, when the
engine, that is given a 3-fold repetion position (as happened in that game), the
GUI could let it search nevertheless (which basically would follow your
argumentation in this thread). Indeed, in the position that the GUI had seen
(from Shredder point of view) claim of draw was possible (without asking the
engine, and without writing anything to the score sheed). The GUI might look at
the score reported by the engine, and adjust the GUI-decision for draw claiming
accordingly. Perhaps the GUI even claimed draw, and nobody saw it (or those who
saw it tried to ignore it)? Even more scenarios are possible.
