Hi José,
You have to add chant.c and chant.h to your project as you did and compile with
CHANT_ENABLED defined (or compile without this defined so the compiler will
ignore all calls to CHANT - handy if you don't want to dump the game tree).
There is no .lib as I consider that adding chant.c and chant.h files to your
project is simple and straightforward enough.
I know what the problem is. It seems that I have forgot to update the docs in
the .chm included with the shareware version, and you have there docs for CHANT
lib 1.0, which is old and replaced by the much useful CHANT lib 2.0.
The latest docs are at :

(chant.c and chant.h you have are from lib 2.0)
