Nope...  the PV isn't the only place they cause problems...  you can miss
finding a new best move because of such problems.  But I basically ignore them
as deeper searches tend to minimize the impact, and the extra depth you get
by doing them more than pays for that...

you get mistakes, but you find more.  I consider it an overall significant
gain...
