For example, if a given program plays at 2400 elo by searching to a depth of 10 ply in the middlegame, then 11 ply would yield about 2480. I would be wary of using this for a large extrapolation. Bear in mind that the 80 elo figure can vary quite a bit from program to program. Also, you can't assume the increased search depth in the endgame implies greater strength in that phase.
