Proponents of the WCCC status quo bring to mind the same kind of arguments that accompanied the transition from flat-world to round-world, horse-and-buggy to automobile, trains to airplanes, DOS to Windows, radio to TV, regular to unleaded, paper to plastic, smoking to non-smoking, etc., etc., etc.
