Despite best intentions and various attempts, I can't get the downloaded 6-man KRPPKR tablebases to work. From a manual count I have all the smaller related tbs I would need (is there a list?) and the engines (Shredder 7.04, X3D Fritz) initialize correctly. But the problem I was working on with just that material balance isn't solved immediately as it should be. I downloaded all seven files (4.35GB) from Hyatt's site (thanks) but haven't had any luck. From the little I could find out there they should work under ChessBase with the aforementioned engines. Not true? Have to use Winboard with Crafty? Thanks.
