hi Matt >Wasn't there an early LCD unit called "Savant" that did that, circa the time of >the "Great Games Machine". yes there most certainly was THE Novag Savant and it did in fact come out the same time as the Applied Concepts Great game machine i have both of the computers the Savant is now a bit infamous in that the display's are no longer working i have about five Savants all with blacked out display's in fact there is only one known collector in the world that has a Savant that is still working but the display is fading fast! the Savant however did not offer the "Simultaneous feature" IDIOT SAVANT REGARDS(me that is..)
