Hello Uri!
I am very much interested by all that you tell me about junior (s)
yet , I must notice these facts:
junior7 plays with , in average , 1 to 2 ply more in depth than junior8 , and
,with the same hardware , is the deepest of all engines , except Doctor? ,
but this one has so drastic pruning as it misses all the "interesting"
 moves
Now ,what is for you the best tactician? Tal or Karpov? and yet karpov has won
more tournaments Than Tal!
if only the evaluation is in question , then ,is it possible to have a setting
for junior8 that make it more similar to junior7
it would be as "fun" as junior7 and possibly stronger
I MUST believe Amir Ban , but....."Eppur si muove"
Friendly Yours
Claude Le Page
PS You can find games of junior7 on the websites:
