According to the product announcement for the Endgame Turbo 2: "Mit Hilfe des
Endspielturbos und ChessBase 8 oder Fritz 8 lassen sich alle auf den DVDs
gespeicherten Endspiele zweifelsfrei beurteilen".

engl: "By using the Endgame Turbo with Chessbase 8 or Fritz 8 every endgame on
the DVD can be judged perfectly"

So there shouldn't be a problem using the DVDs with Chessbase 8, as long as
Chessbase (the company) keeps what it promises ;)
