It is not so easy.

Anubis is not available so first they need to win against it in order to pick a
winning line and after winning against it they need to have the same color and
to look at games of previous round.

You can also avoid the problem by adding support for a book only in the first
move that is easier than having a big book.

My first public movei had a book only in the first move not as an external file
but as part of the source code and inspite of the fact that I have now a small
book I still have that internal book in order not to lose the same game twice in
a match of 4 games and movei's only learning is changing the first move after a
loss.

I also do not think that a lot of opponents will try to repeat the same game
that already happened twice.

You do not expect to win the tournament with averno and most of the opponents at
that level do not prepare a killer line even against programs with no book.

List4.61 has no book but opponents usually do not try to prepare a killer line
against it in Leo's tournament.

I think that if anubis is significantly better than averno you can probably get
a better result with it.
