Shrug. For that you'll have to wait, because in terms of prestige or sales I can definitely miss it now. I would like to play anyway, if possible, for fun, and to test new stuff. Like I said I will even take a handicap if necessary, although it will be annoying that I have to take it to live inside the dictated framework. Currently what I see is that CCT is gradually losing stature and prestige. I have some loyalty to the event as I was a regular at the early ones, and then most important programs were there. Now as a rule they don't show up. Also, for the record, the most demanded feature for chess engines >by those that buy every one they can get their hands on is an automatic >interface for the chess servers. You get the interface and a free license with every Chessbase product you buy. So they are in competition with ICC and don't think they have to support it. I won't ask them to unless and until playing CCT is professionally important, but currently I won't bother them to put in workhours for my fun only.
