Well, the problem is that the single cpu users have no choice but to pay $100
+/- for a feature that they can't use.  Even the non-smp version of DF8 is still
$100 because it comes with an X3D package in which they might not also value.

I would guess they would prefer to stay in the $50 price range which I can
indentify with.  :)
