Hi I wasn't sure that Vt100 codes would work in a standard DOS screen so I have just tried it and confirmed that it doesn't work. To achieve colored text it looks like I would need to start using BIOS calls amd poking values into video attribute memory? Any of the programming gurus here have some example code for this that would compile in Visual Studio C ? Many thanks Geoff On December 13, 2003 at 11:27:37, Geoff wrote: >Hi > >I noticed using Chispa that it's DOS screen text output prints in colored text >also with coloured background squares for the board representation. >I suspect this can be done from printf output using ESC sequences ?
