You should be looking at it this way: How many countries participated in Graz?
How many countries are participating in CCT?

Somewhere, the "World" got left out of WCCC.

In your worldview, only the Germans, Chinese, Fmr Soviet Republics and the USA
need bother attending the Olympics. The ICGA event resembles this remark.

You seem to be suggesting that these three somehow hold the credibility of CC
events hostage by whatever whim or happenstance prevents their attendance.
Since when is any "world" competition a supplicant to such a small minority of
potential participants. After all, we know that such tournaments are not often
won by the strongest player, but by the most fortunate _strong_ player. This
diminishes your point into irrelevance, does it not?

Besides, Israel, Germany, and the Netherlands are strongly represented in CCT,
anyway.
