ok, just got amd 2400+ xp->mp 512mb ddr ecc system up runing freebsd 4.9 just started crafty up and ran bench I got : Crafty v19.6 white(1): bench Running benchmark......... Total nodes: 100409437 raw nodes per second: 1045931 smp time-to-ply measurement: 6.666667 white(1): is this good? also having some heat issues on one of the chips cpu0 is 10c hotter than cpu1 I did use a different thermal paste on chip but don't think thats the problem. btw. this thing seem very fast in general not so sure about chess yet but compiling code is a lot nicer.
